Each year Noosa hosts a variety of exciting and entertaining single and multi-day events. Sporting events include a running festival, surfing competition, endurance mountain bike race and the “king of the mountain” mountain climbing race.
Entertainment and gastronomic events are also very popular including jazz and music festivals and food and wine celebrations where celebrity chefs prepare local cuisine.

Noosa Festival of Surfing
A 6-day pro-am that draws hundreds of competitors from all over Australia and overseas to compete and experience the unique ‘Aloha Spirit’ of the Noosa Festival.

Dingo Creek Wine Jazz and Blues Festival
Unique and not to be missed. Prepare for a great weekend of camping and self-indulgence against the beautiful backdrop of Dingo Creek. It's a place where music lovers can meet and greet all their favourite musicians in a setting that is second to none!

Noosa Blue Water Swim
The now famous annual event takes advantage of Noosa’s fabulous climate, sublime lifestyle and relaxed atmosphere. You can be part of the Noosa Blue Water Swim by competing in either the 2km Noosa Blue Water Swim from Tea Tree Bay around the headland to Noosa Main Beach or the 1km Ocean Swim from Little Cove to Main Beach. If you think those distances are a bit out of your league then we have the 500m Splash and Nipper Challenge along Noosa Main Beach.

Settler’s Cove Noosa Food and Wine Festival
During this event Australia's top chefs, winemakers, restaurateurs and general food lovers mingle to learn, taste and explore the best of Australian and local produce. Join a food trail and enjoy the freshest food from the paddock to the plate, partake in a cooking class with a celebrity chef or enjoy the results when guest chefs take over local Noosa restaurants. The Noosa Longweekend is an annual 10-day festival of theatre, dance, music, visual arts, food, film, literature and thought-provoking, barrier-breaking forums that has become recognised as one of Australia’s foremost regional cultural events.

Pomona King of the Mountain Festival and Race
The famous King of the Mountain Festival and Race is Noosa's major hinterland festival held in Pomona on the fourth Sunday of July each year. The day kicks off with the famous bush poet’s breakfast followed by the Quarter Marathon and 3km family fun runs. A full line-up of professional entertainers, rides, food and attractions run throughout the day.

Viridian Noosa Running Festival
Catering for people of all running levels and abilities, the Viridian Noosa Half Marathon 21km, Noosa 10km run and Beckmans Green Noosa 5km Run/Walk provide a range of running events to take in the natural scenery of this beautiful area.

Noosa Jazz Festival

Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival
The Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival is brought together with an irresistible mix of sport and entertainment coupled with sun, sea and surf in one of Australia’s most popular destinations. The weeklong festival of swimming, cycling, running, triathlon events for everyone from 7-80+, two golf tournaments (celebrity and corporate), massive sport and lifestyle expo, corporate/VIP facilities and a serious after Party you’ll also need to train for.
